From January through April 2008, oil consumption was 918.9 gallons; in the same period in 2009, it was 398.3 gallons. During that period in 2008, electricity consumption totaled 3451 kilowatt hours; in 2009, it was 2914.

WVII: Incentives for Home Energy Audits
Keith and Beth Bisson moved into a Bangor home 2-and-a-half years ago. It was built in 1919, and the homeowners say in the winter it's so chilly inside, they have to wear blankets over their shoulders, even with the heat on. "We're looking to just tighten things up and make sure we don't have dollar bills flying out the window when it comes to the winter," says Beth Bisson, homeowner. Friday, the Bisson's decided to have an energy audit performed on their home. Efficiency Maine and Penobscot Home Performance stopped to check things out.
